Advertising Sales Manager (chicago)

The Advertising Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenues and contributing significant growth and profit to the OnTray Media Brand.
The person will solicit and manage Advertising sales in both the Sports & Entertainment Centers as well as the Quick Service Restaurants.
Primary responsibility is to drive significant new business development, profitable growth in all our targeted market segments and sell advertising to businesses and advertising agencies.
This leader is accountable for both revenue and profit in the Annual Operating Plan.
External interactions will be with Teams Corporate Sponsorship Department, Marketing Departments of Sports & Non-sports corporations, and Concessionaires of Venues.
Internally, the role will have some level of interaction with multiple functions across the Core Substrates division.
This role reports to the CEO and will have no direct reports.
Responsibilities Include:
Call on clients and potential clients at their places of business.
The ability to travel to meet-up with clients anywhere to solicit advertising on both national and local levels Analyze existing & new clients revenue potential, cost and profitability by job and/or project, as well as quarterly and yearly sales analysis Contract negotiation with new and existing Advertisers.
Build strong relationships, learn about the client's needs and present an advertising plan with ad samples and cost estimates Analyzes data, monitor competitors and develop sales tools such as media kits.
Lead internal cross-functional collaboration on key OnTray Media Advertising initiatives with:
peers, Customer Marketing, Business Units, and Supply Chain Work with Adverting Independent brokers to solicit business domestic & international Attend Trade Shows & Exhibitions Liaison between Advertising Agencies, Advertisers and production to ensure quality and on-time delivery within budget parameters.
Build relationships with clients and develop communication channels to ensure smooth workflow; Collect market intelligence on clients.
They should know the demography of their audience and what businesses sell to that demographic Work within established operating budgets and maintain daily tracking and analysis of benchmarking information.
Desired Skills &
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred Minimum of 7 years Advertising Sales experience Minimum of 3 years of experience managing high level clients Extensive network and experience in the Sports & Entertainment Segment is a plus Experience in Sponsorship and Partnership Agreement 30% Traveling Persevering enough to be able to work for extensive hours Ability to handle rejection and work in a fast paced environment Aspiring representatives should have strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce and/or SugarPro).
Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint (Microsoft) and Adobe InDesign Company Description:
