Studio Leader - Interior Design (Chicago)

Studio Leader - Interior Design - Harrington College of Design Studio Leaders execute all the responsibilities of a Studio Instructor while teaching 2-4 courses per term as the standard (based upon assigned level of non-teaching service/support to the institution).
Administrative responsibilities include:
Assist the Dean of Instruction to orient new instructors to our teaching methods, processes and policies.
Assist the Dean of Instruction in observing instructors to ensure their quality of instruction meets objectives.
Assist the Director of Academic Services in scheduling instructors to ensure appropriate student/instructor ratios and classroom utilization.
Assist the Dean of Instruction in monitoring the grading system, testing procedures, lab/studio equipment, textbooks, class size, and student/staff morale.
Required Skills:
The ability to work in a team environment, strong organizational skills, good project management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to customer service.
Ability to assist students and faculty with online and ground academic resources.
Flexibility and ability to perform a varied range of duties and interact with supervision remotely.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and achieve goals.
Demonstrates CEC Standards as defined for faculty members:
Communication, Assessment of Student Learning, Pedagogical Mastery, Course Subject Matter Expertise, Utilization of Technology, Teaching Diverse Learners, Student Engagement Protocol Adherence, Promotion of Active Student Learning, Operating within Educational System, and Demonstration of Scholarship.
Required
Experience:
Master degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field required.
Teaching experience required.
5-10 years of demonstrated professional Interior Design industry experience required.
Must be qualified to teach at all applicable levels (e.
g.
:
associate, bachelors, masters, etc.
) based upon program offerings.
PhD or Ed.
D a plus.
Proprietary school experience a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
