Farmers Market Sales (Chicago, North side)

Katherine Anne Confections is looking for a hardworking, smart, charismatic person to act as a market and event coordinator year-round, and from May-September, sell artisan confections at farmers markets.
For markets, you will be responsible for setting up the tent, weights, tables etc by yourself, managing inventory, managing product, and accurately reporting sales.
You'll also be the face of our brand, so you have to be fun, nice, and remember customers well.
You also have to aggressively get people to come to our booth and sample our awesome treats (in a nice way).
You must be able to lift 50 pounds, work early and long hours through heat, cold, or rain.
You MUST HAVE A CAR to hold tent, tent weights, coolers, tables, etc.
(we do have another position for those without cars, so please inquire.
) You should be OK with numbers and great with people.
Love of chocolate/caramel and a positive attitude is a must.
We work with local and organic ingredients and are a sustainable company, so if you like that, we like you.
Compensation is $10/hour after a 30-day $8.
50/hour training wage, then $12/hour after 60 days pending your review.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
