Preschool Teacher and Aide (Grayslake , Il)
Essential Functions and Duties:
-Assist in creating weekly lesson plans and implementing daily activities in the classroom -Engaging with children while teaching them curriculum -Supervising children at all times - Creating crafts, themes, special events and more throughout the year -Discipline children in a safe manner -Distribute calendars and newsletters as needed to parents -Ensure a safe learning environment at all times -Assist Recreation Supervisor in some administrative and daily operations -Must love being outdoors and nature -Willing to teach part of the class outdoors during all seasons
