Summary:
This position reports to the Director of Development and is responsible for assisting the Development team with fundraising and donor stewardship.
Primary responsibilities include managing the donor database, tracking volunteer engagement and producing reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1.
Manage donor database (80%) Responsible for daily gift entry process, specifically timely and accurate gift entry, coding and acknowledgment of all donations.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of all donor records, including grants and in-kind.
Produce fundraising and donor stewardship reports, as needed.
Follow software standards for all data-related entries to maintain the integrity of the donor database.
Create trainings and user manuals for other staff members in order to ensure universally accepted data standards to maintain integrity of donor database.
Maintain donor, volunteer and event participant lists.

Assist with grant proposals (5%) Assist with grant writing, as needed.
4.
Assist with volunteer management (5%) Enter all volunteer hours into donor database.
Assist with volunteer engagement activities, as needed.
5.
Other Duties (5%) Support fundraising activities and special events, as needed, which may include working some evenings and some weekends.
Qualifications:
Education:
Position requires a B.
S.
or B.
A.
from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge:
Proficiency with donor management software is required.
Specific experience using Raiser's Edge, Donor Perfect or a similar system is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point is required.
Experience with social media marketing is preferred.
Skills:
Strong technical and computer skills Excellent writing skills Strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit at a desk and computer.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms and reach above shoulders.
Occasionally required to push, pull, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
