Floral Arranger
Position:
Floral Arranger Reports To:
Associate Manager -- ProFlowers Status:
Hourly, Non-exempt
Responsibilities:
Plan arrangement according to specific requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials, or mirroring the appropriate standard design pattern.
Properly packing and label all products for shipment.
Perform preparation work as directed to prepare and execute both non peak and peak daily shipment targets.
Operate WMS system and Microsoft Office applications.
Any other responsibilities and duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working within the floral or perishables industry in floral design required.
Must have a high attention to detail.
General knowledge and/or experience in Quality Control preferred.
Ability to prioritize work against tight timelines, operate with a sense of urgency and perform well under pressure.
Able to perform manual labor such as lifting, bending, and moving boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
Able to perform repetitious movements including pushing, pulling and grabbing.
Able to withstand working long hours in a cold environment.
WMS and/or RF Scanning experience a plus.
Dedicated commitment to customer service and fostering a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be adaptable and flexible to change in volumes, priorities and tasks.
Bilingual highly preferred (Spanish/English) Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing this job, the employee may be exposed to ammonia, freon, dust and noise with frequent and sustained walking, standing and heavy lifting up to 30 lbs, in a cooler environment.
