Job Overview The Quality Engineer I is responsible for leading and driving product and/or raw material quality issue investigations to root cause, and leading the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities :
Engage with product marketing, RDE or manufacturing in leading the resolution of customer issues and/or quality issuing occurring in manufacturing :
Author and roll out suitable quality assurance test methods or special purpose test methods.

Conduct capability studies, round robins and/or GR and Rs to prove analytical sameness.

Drives changes to manufacturing plant QA laboratories on method support and testing support.
:
Purchase and establish and improve CQA laboratory instrumentation and train junior members.

Regional and global support.
:
Quality specifications for raw materials and/or products including development, maintenance and review :
Conduct or participate in alternate supplier evaluations for equivalency to existing and/or potential impact to formulate or customerMinimum Qualifications :
BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering :

10 years working in chemical industry role (R and D, process engineer or quality engineer) :
Ability statistics and strong mathematical skills :
Strong statistical theory background :
Understanding of quality principles and tools :
Ability to communicate effectively to cross functional teams through verbal and written presentations.
Preferred Qualifications :
MS in chemistry or Chemical Engineering with quality certification :

3 years in a Senior Quality engineer or manager role :
Demonstrated project management experience :
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team atmosphere.
