POSITION
Summary:
Under the direction of the Controller, this position supports the plant and financial management teams. Responsible for analysis of plant level costs and control including standard cost analysis, inventory reconciliation, and cost reduction initiatives. Works closely with manufacturing to understand issues and how they impact the financial results, as well as educate plant leadership on cost drivers and variances.

Responsibilities:
Analyze actual labor, material and overhead costs against Standard/Budget. Research and explain variances on a weekly and monthly basis.
Support the month end close process
Inventory reconciliation and analysis
Assist with the development of new labor and overhead rates, annual budgets, and forecasts.
Perform ad hoc product/plant cost analysis to support the plant operations.
Miscellaneous projects as assigned

EDUCATION/
Experience:
B.S. in Accounting or Finance.
2+ years experience in a general accounting / Analysis position. Manufacturing experience is ideal.
Experience with a manufacturing software package. SyteLine is a plus.

OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High level of proficiency using spreadsheet applications such as Excel, including the use of pivot tables.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Sound planning and organizational skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
