Lan Administrator/Personal Computer Technician
Morton, Illinois (Supporting Illinois and North Carolina facilities)
In this highly technical role, you will draw upon your understanding of networks and how they function in the workplace as you install, configure and troubleshoot computer networks and associated assemblies. In addition, you will perform upgrades to PC hardware and software components as needed, provide in-house PC technical support to users, and train employees in the proper use of programs and packages.
A high school diploma or GED, and two to three years of related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience will help qualify you for this position. Formal electronic and/or PC education, along with MMF standard software experience is necessary. Knowledge of switches, servers, and routers (Dell, Cisco and HP), and work with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP will be expected. Some travel between facilities will be necessary.
