Named Account Manager - EdTech
This position can be based out of Chicago, ILWould you like to be part of a team focused on increasing the adoption of Amazon Web Services with our customers in the EdTech industry? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon Web Services as a key technology platform provider?Our EdTech team works with businesses delivering innovative software solutions to the Education market.
We are looking for an experienced Mid-Market Named Account Manager to manage some of the EdTech accounts in the Midwest and Texas.
The ideal candidate has a track record for overachieving quota while working backwards from the customer needs.
This role should possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level, multiple lines of business (IT, Finance, Product, Sales, etc), as well as with software developers, engineers, and IT architects.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory and industry vertical.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and solutions.
Accelerate customer adoption.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
Manage contract negotiations.
Ensure customer satisfaction Willing to travel 50%
to customer locations across the Midwest and Texas.
