The RoleWe are looking for a District Manager who can bring Amazon's customer obsession to life in a retail environment.
You will be accountable for the end-to-end operations and overall performance for the stores in your district, leading a team of capable store managers and engaged retail associates to deliver a best-in-class experience for customers.
You will lead your district by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to business metrics that include sales, labor, customer satisfaction, productivity, and safety, among others.
You will play a vital role in maintaining a vibrant team culture based on customer obsession, trust, respect, continuous learning, safety, and fun.
You will work with other District Managers to design and operationalize scalable processes and sound business playbooks.
You will contribute your retail and operations knowledge to influence a nascent but fast-growing retail business.
District Managers are process-driven, comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity, detail-oriented, able to think outside the box, and able to analyze business metrics and implement solutions.
District Managers demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent ownership, the ability to meet deadlines, a willingness to learn new things, and a commitment to the customer and employee experience.
In this role, you will:
Manage a team of store leaders, including setting goals, relaying expectations and managing performance, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development.
Delegate and influence to drive exceptional results in your stores, including executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement, implementing solutions, and providing ongoing feedback to store manager, regional leaders, and corporate stakeholders.
Analyze data and guide the team to make adjustments as needed, use business metrics to measure and drive performance, and convey results in regular business reviews.
Use business acumen and critical thinking skills to identify trends, drive root cause analyses, and resolve issues in store operations in a single store or across your district.
Visit your stores every week, performing store walks and other audits, conducting one-on-ones with leaders, engaging with associates, and providing feedback on the health of the store.
Represent your district in regional and nationwide meetings and respond to escalations from business leaders and other stakeholders.
Own the customer experience for your stores, maintaining a strong store culture built on Customer Obsession and Amazon's Leadership Principles.
Create and maintain a culture of engagement by routinely listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers, analyzing qualitative and quantitative inputs, and independently implementing solutions to solve problems.
Create and maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment to ensure the security of all employees, customers, and products in your stores.
Additional Requirements Work flexible hours to meet customer needs including nights, weekends, and holidays.
You are comfortable working in a physical environment.
You have the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and be on your feet for a shift, up to 10 hours at a time, with or without reasonable accommodation Spend up to 80% of your time visiting the stores in your district, including commute/travel time, and assist with launches in other districts as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
