Here's your chance to join the Training & Certification team working in the highly visible role of America's Training Delivery Leader.
In this role, you will manage a team of Technical instructors, as well as, work closely with customers to craft training programs that will help drive adoption and usage of AWS services.
Further, you will In this role, you will oversee and program manage the execution and strategic positioning of external instructor resources in execution of onsite training plans in alignment with delivery strategy.
You will assist the sales teams and customers to understand their training requirements, develop detailed training proposals and manage the flawless execution of training plans.

You will also be responsible for setting and delivering against the P&L targets including ensuring we have the capacity to deliver against targets and managing and maximizing instructor utilization.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced people leader with documented success leading and building technical consulting, professional services or training teams in multiple verticals.
You will have excellent communication skills and proven business development experience, ideally in the IT Training sector.

Responsibilities:
Create, develop and manage the network of freelance technical instructorso Manage competing priorities between freelance strategy and positioning with Training Partnerso Onboard new freelance instructors and provide them guidance;o Negotiate terms and conditions of cooperation and track freelance instructor availabilities;o Work closely with AWS Legal and Tax to provide adequate contracts and documentation;o Create a wide training plan based on freelancer's led deliveries;o Create up-to-date engagement guidelines and maintain them based on the market requirements;o Contribute to the improvement of training tools, processes and tracking systems;o Strategically position the freelance program to supplement gaps within internal trainer populationo Coordinate with different teams on a global level in order to work towards a standardized global process on the utilization of freelance training services.
Own the execution of freelance instructors-led training plans:
o Work with AWS Legal on issuance of contracts, and eventual reviews and negotiations;o Liaise with Customer regarding contracting, purchasing, class logistics, ad-hoc status reports and student registrations;o Manage and own the invoice processes, including vendor setup, guidance and support if necessary;o Allocate and manage effectively freelance instructor resources across AMER, be the main point of contact for freelance instructors and keep them updated during the execution of the training plan;o Ensure monthly reporting is done accurately and in a timely manner across various systems, e.

CRM, SharePoint, LMS; Manage Strategic Investment Funding Program in AMER:
o Ensure accuracy of pricing and details of funding requests submitted;o Provide program communications to stakeholders;o Act as a trusted advisor of BDM and Account managers for pricing, operational aspects of the delivery and drives best practice;o Effectively prioritize competing projects and understands when to escalate for definitive prioritization or validation of funding requests;o Ensure that the strategic investment dashboard is up-to-date and monthly reports are sent to the stakeholders in a timely manner.
o Serve as primary escalation point for Training Ops team members; owns and tracks issues to ensure that they are addressed, documented, and resolvedo Support account managers and training business development managers in the creation of large-scale onsite training plans for AWS Customers and Partners with focus on AWS freelance instructor-led deliveries.
o Manage inbound communications including customers and vendors' concerns;Please note this role may require up to 30% travel.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
