Responsibilities:
Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions.
Perform high precision calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments.
Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition.
Ensure all production logbooks are maintained according to standard operating procedures.
Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings.
Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures.
Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating.
Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results.
Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products.
Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
Removes small quantities of metal with hand tools to produce close fit between parts.
May use hand grinder and chisel to clean parts to quality standards.
May use beveling tools as instructed to create parts to customer requirements.
Follows and comply with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.
e.
IATF, ISO 14001) Characteristics Capable of working collaboratively and effectively with others.

Prior experience in spray painting in an industrial paint booth environment.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Experience with overhead cranes.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
