Summary:
Performs daily and scheduled housekeeping tasks such as floor mopping, carpet vacuuming, restroom cleaning, dusting, and other typical housekeeping tasks.
Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, carpets, and furniture throughout the facility Empties all wastebaskets and trash containers Dust mops and wet mops resident rooms Dusts fixtures, registers, and personal furniture as needed Dust mops, wet mops, or vacuums offices and common areas Follows proper safety and isolation procedures Assists in the laundry department when needed Performs additional duties as required
Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow directions, both written and oral Capable of communicating with staff and residents, both written and oral Ability to see This is a part-time role for approximately 16-24 hours/week.
Candidates must have the availability to work 6-8 hour shifts 1-2 weekdays as well as every other weekend and a holiday rotation.
Shifts will typically begin between 5:
00am and 8:
00am, depending on the candidate's preference when hired.
Physical Requirements:
Walking and standing most of the day Frequent stooping, stretching, bending, climbing, kneeling, squatting, and reaching Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 25 pounds Some exposure to potentially hazardous equipment, chemicals, and infectious waste.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
