Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of the Navy's Instructor Training Course (A-012-0077) or equivalent level of instructional training.
Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification or similar certification required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience as a full-time instructor teaching a subject matter closely comparable applicable Navy occupational specialty.
- Successful performance in an equivalent or directly related specialty for six years.
(The three-year and six-year requirements may run concurrently.
) - Instructors must pass physical and psychological screening (if applicable) - Must be able to pass a Medical Physical for certain positions.
