ABA Behavioral Skills Trainer is a position that offers:
PART-TIME HOURS A Schedule that is primarily afternoon and early evening hours with some Saturdays The opportunity to positively enhance the behaviors in a child with Autism A perfect chance to gain skills and knowledge in the field of ABA We have a client that needs the special attention of someone who has EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SEVERE BEHAVIORS.
This is critical to the success of this client, please ONLY apply if you have that qualifying experience.
Schedule:
You should be interested in working primarily part-time hours Skills and Experience you should have:
Critical that you have previous experience working with children with severe behaviors Experience working with special needs children ages 1-22 in a school or home-based setting Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis or discrete trail training An Associates Degree or B.
A.
in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field highly desirable.
You must have reliable transportation to travel to client appointments You must have access to the internet and a working mobile phone for scheduling, communication and time-keeping purposes What you will get to do:

Keep the children motivated to learn.
Accurately record information on the child's progress.
Be courteous & professional with families, organizations & children Facilitate interactions with peers.
