If you are patient, good with students, and an experienced truck driver, we'll train you so that you can start earning more money without all the travel of your current job.
Who you are You have minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience You can effectively communicate with both students and staff You want an opportunity to grow your income You speak clear English (bilingual in Spanish and/or Russian preferred) You have experience instructing CDL classes (preferred) What we want you to do Instructor is responsible for only three major areas:
Instruction Improving Curriculum Improving his own teaching skills And has only two major goals:
Training students so that they pass on the first attempt Reducing the drop out rate by motivating students Compensation Base salary Bonuses Call to action Instructor Job Description Position Overview Instructor reports directly to the management and is responsible for graduating the greatest number of students as quickly as possible Instructor works directly with students at the yard.
Objective Motivate and train students so that they learn everything they need to pass their CDL exam in the allotted 160/240 hours.
Responsibilities Follow existing curriculum and improve lesson plans Conduct group classes and 1-on-1 instruction in the yard Test student knowledge, attitude, and skills Maintain training log books Report training progress Maintain the yard Open and close the gates at the yard Check trucks for preparedness for training, road, and testing o Lights o Battery charge Connect batteries to chargers at the end of the day when temperature is expected to fall below 20F overnight Gather feedback from students and make improvements accordingly Skill Requirements Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Strong verbal communication skills Attention to detail Fluent in English and, preferably, one other language (Russian or Spanish) Experience Requirements 3

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
