Job Description:
MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTANT (PSYCHOLOGIST) The position will be based in Chicago, IL.
Role:
Responsibilities:
Evaluates applicant folders and disability accommodations.
Advises the Center Director and staff on preventive mental health measures.
Consults on and monitors the mental health referral and feedback system.
Conducts clinical interviews for purposes of evaluation, diagnosis, and disposition.
Performs or arranges psychological testing services as needed and authorized, in limited situations.
May participate in orientation sessions for admission counselors by making presentations on the Center s mental health and wellness program, the role of the MHC in Job Corps, and mental health-related review concerns.
Contributes to staff training requirements through the staff development modules.
Attends periodic continuing education conferences sponsored by the regional or national Job Corps offices.
Qualifications:
Requires a Masters.
Degree in Psychology, with two years work related experience.
License:
Certification:
