Experienced Veterinary Technician Wanted
The Royal Treatment Veterinary Center, an integrative care clinic, is seeking a full-time, fully-trained veterinary technician.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player to join our friendly and highly accomplished staff.
Our work environment is very upbeat, a small animal hospital with a high level of personal client interaction.
Normal shifts will include evening and weekend hours.
In addition to technical skills, the right professional will have great communication skills and be able to function effectively while handling multiple simultaneous responsibilities in a fast-moving working environment.

com Two years' experience, and/or a vet tech degree or certification is required.
Interest and experience in alternative medicine and veterinary rehabilitation preferred.
Knowledge of Cornerstone software is a plus.
Typical responsibilities include:
Proper animal restraint for procedures, radiographs, and treatments Medication preparation and administration Assistance for veterinarian in exams, euthanasias, and procedures Blood draws and in-house labwork/cytology/sent-out lab processing IV catheter placement Radiograph positioning and processing (digital) Taking blood pressure readings Dental treatments Detailed communication with clients Underwater treadmill treatments Rehab exercises and treatments Acquisition and recording of patient's case history Computerized Data entry and recordkeeping Maintenance of pharmacy and DEA records.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
