Role Summary/Purpose:
Leads UI development at GE Capital Americas' User Experience COE.
Designs, develops, modifies, adapts or implements short and long term solutions to information technology (IT) needs through new and existing applications, bringing critical front:
end development skills to any initiatives.
Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.
This role partners with designers, backend developers and business partners.

Serves as an lead application technical expert on specific aligned applications.

Demonstrates command of multiple programming languages and basic system analysis techniques.

Designs and develops front end markup and interactive front end logic, leveraging GE standards and technology advancements in the market.

Enhances existing sites and applications to improve usability, simplify and improve customer experience.
:
Constantly assesses, evaluates, and integrates best practices and industry innovations in web development.

Collaborates with project managers, functional subject matter experts, and business IT Application Leaders to define and execute on application changes.

Supports change control calls as the liaison between local business IT and IT teams supporting shared platforms.
