Director, Lean Six Sigma Marketing Track (Paid Membership Site) - Leading Multinational Retailer
Develops and executes Lean projects that will improve business operations and drive better business performance.
This role requires analytic reporting which drives change in operational best practices.
This role works closely with the cross functional business units and field operations teams.
Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
o Lead cross functional teams on planning, data management and milestone tracking for the implementation of strategic initiatives.
o Along with showing value, driving interest and celebrating successes of Lean across the organization by using communication & storytelling are critical functions of this role.
o Coordinate communication and ensure it is streamlined with the cross functional teams, stakeholders and Senior Management team as it relates to all projects and initiatives.
o Align and mobilize Lean methods and practices to accelerate enterprise transformation and develop a robust Talent Pipeline to support the demand for skills and resources.
o Creates and executes Lean project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
o Develop apply Lean, Six Sigma and related performance improvement methodologies to analyze performance metrics and adequately evaluate business performance.
o Develop high performance leaders through Lean Experience and develop, manage and leverage strategic partners/vendors to develop skills and add capacity o Motivates Lean Consultants to meet personal and project goals to complete delivery of functionality.
Develops, documents, and executes a project plan, utilizing approved Lean tools and methodologies.
Education
Experience:
BA/BS in Business, or its equivalent experience, is required; a MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5-7 years of Project Management.
Lean Six Sigma Certification-Black Belt Required.
Significant experience working cross-functionally to achieve business objectives is required.
Experience in process design and implementation.
Experience in financial and operational analytics.
Preferred Skills:
Experience developing and executing business strategy.
Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of an organization.
Experience in a business turnaround and/or new business development.
Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level.
Outstanding communication and relationship building skills Strong analytic capability.
