Materials Coordinator :Chicago, IL Job - (chicago downtown, illinois)

We are hiring a Materials Coordinator in our Chicago, IL office.
The Materials Coordinator will perform material inspection oversight and coordination duties for a Quality Assurance Program that consists of daily material inspection placement process for HMA, PCC, aggregate/soil materials, oversight and maintenance of material inspection documentation, and contract specification review and/or development.
Basic
Qualifications:

BS in Engineering :
Minimum 4 year of construction/materials experience; prefer 5
:
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Illinois PE preferred :
Experience working within a technical office or construction environment preferably in HMA, PCC, and aggregate material testing and inspection categories as related to roadway construction.

General Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.

Inspection personnel for projects in various municipalities utilizing Federal, State, and Local funds, and associated project coordination.

Additional duties include oversight and tracking of material inspection reports, quality assurance reviews of Contractor quality control plans, mix designs and all other technical material reports to ensure compliance with project specifications.
